I am pleased to write this recommendation letter for REOD. I have had 7 years experience in project engineering, with the proposal and implementation of capital projects being my focus. During this time I have had regular dealings with quality management, often as part of my day-to-day work. I hope my perspective is helpful for your evaluation.
My experience with REOD has been during the preparation and installation of the Stebbins lining for the Sioux FGD. The lining is an $11M, critical path project for the Sioux FGD team. The 50,000 square foot lining is a hybrid system combining a traditional coating with a masonry lining. REOD has provided Quality oversight including inspections, reporting, documentation creation, review and analysis.
During this project REOD has demonstrated many positive qualities that have provided substantial value to Sioux FGD project. This value can be seen with a visual inspection of our lining and will likely add service years. I have appreciated their thoroughness and persistence during the many issues of a large construction project. Physical inspection, combined with review of documentation, has uncovered many subtle details (and some not so subtle) that have improved the quality and processes of a very experienced contractor. Their industry knowledge has allowed unbiased, reputable evaluations of divisive issues. This has lead to faster resolution of issues and prevented construction stoppage and expensive rework.
Aside from REOD's excellent technical abilities and judgment, their employees' attitudes are ideal. With many different contractors onsite they clearly understand their role on the team . Their attitude is never combative and they often provide information serving quick resolution of issues. REOD has been a delight to work with.

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation on behalf of REOD LLC.
I have over 35 years of experience in the construction EPC and construction management industry and during this period I have had numerous work relationships with subcontractors in every phase of the construction industry. I am currently completing the American Electric Power Company Cardinal Plant units 1,2 and 3 Flue Gas SO2 removal system in Brilliant, Ohio where REOD LLC was employed as the third party inspection agency responsible for the areas of Vinyl Ester coating and the Stebbins Tile Lining System.
During the period of this project, REOD LLC has demonstrated many positive qualities that have been beneficial to the AEP Cardinal project with regards to providing a quality end product. REOD LLC takes a proactive approach in their work so as to prevent adverse conditions which could impact schedule and cost overruns. Their knowledge and work experience with coatings and tile systems contribute to the overall performance of the work and the subsequent quality of the finished product as well as being able to provide quick resolution to potential problem areas. I have appreciated their thoroughness and professional behavior throughout this project.
Aside from the excellent performance provided by REOD LLC, I have had the pleasure of working directly with Mr. Eugene Doerr, III the Chief Executive Officer who takes a hands on approach in providing third party inspection services. I have found Mr. Doerr to be a very professional and outstanding young man that expects the same type of behavior from his employees. He provides training and personnel evaluation on a continual basis.
In closing I would like to thank Gene for all of his help on this project and to say it has been a pleasure working with all of the REOD LLC inspectors. I look forward to working with REOD LLC on future projects.
